No, candidates who have only passed the 10th class cannot join the National Defense Academy (NDA) regardless of their percentage, as the minimum educational qualification required for admission to the NDA is 10+2 or equivalent. To be eligible for admission to the NDA, a candidate must have passed the 12th class or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Therefore, if a person has only 10th class qualification, he/she cannot apply for NDA irrespective of their percentage.

To join NDA, you have to appear and qualify in NDA/NA examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The eligibility to apply for the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for std 12th board examination.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. So, without 12th you are not eligible to apply for the examination. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and for joining the same one is required to qualify NDA examination held twice every year by UPSC.

Further, the minimum education required for appearing in the same examination is a Class 12th from a recognized board of education.

So, just being a Class 10th passed out, you are not eligible for appearing in the NDA examination unless you complete your Class 12th and satisfy other criteria too.

For complete details regarding the NDA examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
