Can a B.Tech M.Tech B.Ed student be eligible for TET Exam?


Can a student one who done his B.tech (IT) M.tech (IT) 2 years B.Ed, eligible for TET exam especially for Himachal Pradesh state TET Exam (HPBOSE) ??

If you want to apply for TET, then you must have qualification B.Ed. CTET is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test to appoint teacher for class 1 to V and class VII to VIII.

Eligibility for TET for class 1 to V:-
You must have secondary education with at least 50% and have passed / appearing in final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education or 4 year Bachelor in elementary education.

For class VI to VIII:-
You must have graduation with at least 45% and have passed/ appearing B.Ed/ Bachelor in elementary education/ diploma in elementary education.

You must have passed secondary education with at least 50% and passed/ appearing in final year of 4year BA (Edu). / BSc (Edu).

1. The applicant should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training program/course.

2. Applicants should be of minimum 18 years of age.

3. There is no upper age limit for CTET and various TET exams.

1. You should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 percent marks,

2. You should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training program/course.

3. There is generally no bar on the number of attempts if the candidate meets other criteria.

Qualification:-

You must have completed a graduation degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% from any recognized university or institute. Also, you must hold a degree or certificate in teacher training to get eligible for the exam.

You need to have a graduation degree with a B.Ed qualification to apply for TET. B.Tech is an engineering graduate degree and B.Ed is a teaching qualification that makes you eligible for TET without any doubt. You are a trained teacher now with the help of your B.Ed qualification.

Hence, no need to worry about your qualifications because it is absolutely fine for TET. Just make sure you are well prepared for the rest because a good score is needed for the job.
