Hello everyone, I have got 59% marks in my Odisha State Board exam of 12th standard. But I want to study BTech in IIT. So, can I take admission to study BTech courses in IIT? Kindly tell me about this asap. Waiting for your response!

Yes, You can get BTech admission in IIT with 59% in 12th Odisha State Board.

There is no criteria of having minimum 75% in intermediate to get admission in IIT/NIT.

You must have minimum 85 percentile in JEE Advance to get admission in IIT.

Eligibility criteria for OJEE:-

Qualifying exam:--
Candidate must have passed class 12th and equivalent examination to be eligible for OJEE 2021.

Age criteria:-
The lower age limit for this course is 17 years. Age proof of their age, candidates must submit H.S.C or equivalent certificate during certificate verification at the time of OJEE counselling.

The eligibility criteria for BTEC in IIT is
Candidate will have to sit for the commerce national level enterance exam i.e JEE MAIN AND JEE ADVANCED
candidate will have to be of 17 years at the time of admission
Candidate will have to secure at least 75% in 12 standard in physics, chemistry and mathematics
There is some relaxation for the reserved category students they have to score 65%
Bit according to the above criteria you are not eligible to study BTEC from IIT
