My daughter is studying in cbsc 10 th class now school management is asking about school exam or board exam which one you like to take.
If she takes school exam she can join other plus 2 colleges in the state.
Please clear my confusion.

Yes, she can definitely take school exam and then after get admission in other schools/ plus 2 colleges of the state. According to the recent norms of CBSE, a student can choose whether he/she will give board exam after tenth or not. However, while admission in the plus 2 colleges/schools the marks that she will get in tenth which may be either in board exam or school exam will be considered.

However, it is recommendable to take board exam after tenth. This is because :-
- It will bring sense of maturity and responsibility.
- She will get an experience of the pressure.
- Many plus 2 colleges give more preference to board exam scores as compared to school exam scores.
- She will get to know the standard on national basis and can prepare for higher studies accordingly.
