I would like to know if students who have completed IGCSE Board equivalent to 12th standard are eligible for NDA examination? Please let me know about this asap.

A candidate who has completed class 12th is eligible to join NDA Defence Academy.Minimum qualification required to appear in NDA exam is 12th with physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 50% marks. This exam is conducted twice a year.

Eligibility for NDA examination:

> You should be a citizen of India

> You should be unmarried

> Only male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination

> You should have completed your +2 examination from any stream and from a recognised University

> Your age should be in between 16.5 - 19.5 years

Candidate who have passed IGCSE is equivalent to class 12 examination. While the minimum academic criteria is that the candidate must have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board of education.

IGCSE is valid and recognized board of education and the candidate who have passed from IGCSE is eligible to apply for NDA examination.
