I have passed HS in commerce stream from SEBA board with 48%. I am pursuing BA from an open Univ ( KKHSOU). I am in 3rd year now.

So, its my kind request to you, to let me know, about the eligibility criteria for TET exam in Assam?

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for Assam TET Entrance Examination:

Candidates who have completed their B.Sc/ B.A or B.com with minimum 50% marks along with B.T or B.Ed from a recognized university are eligible to apply for Assam Teachers Eligibility Test Exam. As Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University is a recognized university, the B.A degree is of course valid in order to apply for TET of Assam. But in order to be eligible, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course is also certainly required. So after gathering all your educational qualification details, you are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for Assam TET Entrance Exam.

>> Minimum 50% marks in Graduation is required. So make sure you secure minimum 60% marks in 3rd year of B.A in order to make overall 50% marks.

>> You are required to do B.Ed along with B.A in order to be eligible. If you can meet all the above instructions, then I am sure you are certainly eligible to appear in Assam TET Entrance Examination.

If you have completed bachelor degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for TET (High School teacher) exam.

So after completion of graduation degree, you can apply for TET exam in Assam.

Only Indian citizenship candidate are eligible for this exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 40 years.

Eligibility Criteria for TET exams :

Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university.
Candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in graduation.
There is relaxation of 5% marks for SC and ST candidates.
There is no age limit.

If you do graduation with 50%marks aggergate. in b.sc, b.com ,b.ed than you will be elligible for the TET EXAM in assam.
You first do your graduation from a reputed university.
Next your age limit is about 36 years and 5%relaxation for sc and st.

I dont have B.Ed qualification but want to appear in TET ..so is it necessary to have B.Ed for appearing in TET or what??

Educational Qualification:
*Candidates should pass their B.A or B.Sc or B.Ed or Senior Secondary Examination with at least 45% of marks.

Age limit:
The candidate's age should be between 18 to 40 years.
