Marks in all boards are given whole heartedly. All marks are eventually checked by the school principal and then sent to the boards. So, hallmarks are the best to themselves because a principal will never will want his school to perform worse. In ICSE total marks given are 20 and minimum is 17. While in some subjects is 30 and minimum is 27.
