sir, how much mark should i need to score in 12th board examination to join in BITS pilani campus without writing BITSAT exam. And also what books should i need to read for BITSAT exam (whether 11th 12th books are enough or other outer books need).

To get admission in BITS Pilani Campus, you must appear for BITSAT entrance examination. Without appearing for BITSAT entrance examination, you are not eligible to apply for admission in BITS Pilani Campus. You need to score minimum aggregate of 75% marks in your 12th standard to get admission in 12th standard. While calculating the aggregate, you need to consider only 12th board examination marks.

You need to prepare 11th and 12th standard books while preparing for BITSAT examination. It is best to opt NCERT 11th and 12th standard text books for preparation of BITSAT examination.

You will not get direct admission in BITS Pilani until and unless you will not become topper of the State and Central Board examination of 12th standard. According to the admission criteria of BITS, a candidate who wants direct admission or without appearing in BITSAT then he must secure first rank in State Board or Central Board examination. Those candidate who want direct admission will have to submit the documentary certificate, denoting the first rank status by their respective Board.
Preparing from Board books is good but not enough, preparing for BITSAT. You will have to prepare with different books. Previous question papers or Model test papers will help you to know the pattern and questions which are coming in BITSAT. I have attached names of few books which is highly recommended by many successful students. These books will help you to secure good marks in BITSAT.

It is mandatory to attend BITSAT exam, to join in BITS pilani Institute. Because, without qualifying the BITSAT exam, you are not eligible for admission. And you should have following eligibility criteria to attend for BITSAT exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
You should have obtained at least 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, if taken Mathematics in BITSAT exam or a minimum of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, if you have taken Biology in BITSAT exam.

Books to Refer:-
You should refer both 11th and 12th class books.That's because the exam will depend on your intermediate syllabus.

It is necessary that you must qualify in BITSAT entrance exam in order to join in BITS pilani. Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with minimum 75% in PCM can apply for BITSAT entrance exam. So, If you have secured 75% marks in 12th board then you can apply.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology for admission to Undergraduate engineering courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must have complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent. Minimum of 75% in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th standard.

BITSAT is a computer based online Test. The test consists of 150 multiple choice questions.

BITSAT stands for the Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test.

It is conducted every year by the BITS.

The minimum educational qualification for the test is 12th appearing and the minimum percentage criteria is 80% or above aggregate in 12th standard and minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths taken together.

As I would like to clear that there is no any provision for direct admission into the bits campuses so you have to surely write the bits exam.

For getting into the bits pilani
Campus so you have to sit in BITSAT FOR securing a seat .
There is no direct admission for bits at as it is test for entrance into bits campus .
So you have to write the bit sat exam BIRLA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ADMISSION TEST.
ELIGIBILTY.

A CANDIDATE must have secured 75% aggregate marks in PCM (physics chemistry and math).
The books need to study this exam are
Hc verma concepts of physics
Chemistry by arihant publication
Math from rs aggarwal.

If you want to appear for the BITSAT exam , then you should satisfy the Eligiblity criteria of it which also includes the cutoff marks to apply for the exam in different subjects in 12th .

~ You shouldhave passed 12th under 10+2 system from a Recgnised Baord

~ You shouldhave taken Mathematics , Physics , Chemistry as your main subjects in 12th

~ You shouldhave secured an Aggregate of 75% in Mathematics , Physics , Chemistry in 12th to apply for the exam

~ You shouldhave secured a minimum of 60% in Maths , Physics and Chemistry subjects.

~ Candidates must have been proficient in english

It is compulsory to apply for the BITSAT entrance examination to get admission in BITS ,Pilani .

The candidates must have 75% aggregate in PCM if he is a science candidates.
The examination is online based .
The admission is taken for Undergraduate course in the BITS Pilani .

NOTE:---
The examination paper also contains questions of English also other than PCM .

We only have to get 75% in our 12th board and one more thing how much marks we need to get in BITSAT for taking civil,mechanical.,electrical and computer science?
