My children Dob is 04/02/2013. Child eligible or not for admission in1st class standard of icse board.

The New Education Policy fixes the minimum age criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya School's (KVS) Class I admission of a child to six years instead of five years.

Minimum age for class 1st standard student:-

Minimum age limit required to get admission in Ist standard 5 years 8 months.
The minimum age for getting a ICSE school in LKG 4+ years, and for LKG the minimum age is 5 + years.

According to the ICSC board, the minimum age limit of the student should be 5 years and the maximum age of the student should be between 6 years as of 31st March of the academic session to get eligible for class 1 in ICSC school.
