Re: Is optional subject necessary for NEET eligibility?
No, not at all, Mathematics as an optional or main subject in Class 12th is not required for appearing in NEET UG.
Further, the basic educational qualification required for appearing in NEET UG is a higher secondary school degree with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate in case of reserved category candidates) in PCB combination. So, as per your educational qualification mentioned by you, are definitely eligible for appearing in NEET UG. For complete details regarding NEET UG, you can refer to the link www.ntaneet.nic.in. |
