There is no such percentage requirement in order to become an IAS officer, you will have to complete your graduation degree and then can apply for for UPSC examination, once you clear the examination, you will have to clear the other rounds for qualifying for the post, once you clear all of the rounds, you will be eligible to become an IAS officer.

You should however try to score as well as possible in your board examination, be it in 10th or in 12th, both.

In order to become an IAS officer, candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University has percentage does not matter. The only thing matters is that the candidate must have qualified in each exam of his academic years.

Your class 10th marks have nothing to do with becoming an IAS officer. You just need to perform well in the civil services written exam and interview to get selected after graduation.

Even if you just have pass marks in graduation and other academic qualifications, and still you manage to crack the exam, then you will be selected. Hence, concentrate on IAS exam syllabus and question paper pattern.

Students should pass the 10th standard Telangana Board to become an IAS Officer. Students should also clear 10+2 and a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to become an IAS Officer in the future. They have to appear for the Civil Service Examination conducted by the UPSC to become an IAS Officer. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the Civil Service Examination. It has three parts, namely: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Candidates have to clear all the above mentioned to become an IAS Officer.
