Re: Percentage required in 12th Jharkhand Board to become an IPS Officer?
IPS stands for Indian Police Services.
IPS officers are selected through a Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Examination is conducted in three stages which are Preliminary>>>Main>>Interview. Eligibility to appear in Civil Services examination are >Candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee came to India for permanent settlement before 1st January 1962. >Candidate must have passed bachelors degree in any stream from any recognised university. >Candidate must be of age more than 21 years and less than 32 years as on 1st August in the year of examination. Marks scored in 12th standard and graduation have no role to play in Civil Services examination. |
