Percentage required in 12th HP Board exam to become an IPS Officer?
I am studying in 12th standard from HP Board. I am average in studies but my aim is to become an IPS Officer. I want to know that what percentage I have to secure in my 12th Board exam from this HP Board so that I can achieve my aim?

Your class 12th percentage has nothing to do with your IPS officer selection. You need to perform excellently in the UPSC civil services exam to become eligible for selection.
The minimum qualification required to appear in exam is a degree with just pass marks from a recognized university. Just make sure you are well prepared for the exam. |

The percentage does not matter because the minimum qualification required to become an IPS officer is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
The candidate must have cleared all the examinations. Hence, percentage does not matter. |

IPS stands for Indian Police Services. To become an IPS Officer you have to appear in Civil Services Examination. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligibility criteria for this exam is candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidate age must 21 to 32 years. Relaxation are available for reserved category. Candidate must be an Indian. So, there is no matter what percentage you opt in 12th Board exam. For more information, you can visit www.upsc.gov.in. |
