Hello everyone, I want to know if I can get to study BSc(Nursing) in any college in Vijayawada after 12th with Arts? I am an Arts student and I am interested to study BSc in this specialization. So, is it possible or not?

Having completed your Class 12th in Arts stream, you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc. in Nursing degree course as to pursue the same degree course the minimum education required is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects from a recognised board of education.

So, in order to pursue B.Sc. in Nursing degree course, you are required to reappear in your Class 12th but in Science stream with PCB group this time.

No you are not eligible for BSC Nursing course after Arts stream.
Eligibility criteria for BSC Nursing course:-
Candidate seeking for BSC in nursing, must have passed the 12th level of exam with Biology, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks or in any other steam given one must hold a 3 years diploma in general nursing and midwifery and a minimum of 2 years experience in the profession. In order to be eligible for the program candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and should not have exceed the age of 35 years.

Being an Arts student you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc. Nursing 4 years degree course because as per the minimum educational qualification, the candidate should have done 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects from a recognised board with at least 50% marks.

Arts students are not eligible to persue B.Sc. Nursing degree course.

Educational Qualification- 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

The basic eligibility condition to take up B.Sc Nursing course is that you should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognised school or state board with a minimum 45% aggregate in it.
Also biology is compulsory subject to have studied in your class 12th.

You are not eligible to get admission in B.Sc Nursing course.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course.
