Hello everyone, I am very much confused. I have scored only 54% marks in my 10th Board exam of UP Board. I live in Gorakhpur and want to secure admission for Science stream in Intermediate. Kindly let me know that with this percentage of marks, I can get Science or not?

It will depend on your choice of school and it will be difficult to get admission at top schools with just 54% marks because these days there is a very stiff competition for admission at top schools. You need to have excellent marks to get admission at reputed schools.

Yes, it is possible to study Science in Intermediate after completion of your 10th standard with 54% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Candidates who have passed 10th standard or an equivalent examination in all subjects from a recognised board are eligible to pursue Intermediate Science course. Admissions to Intermediate Science course are done through merit basis of 10th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination conducted by the respective school.
