Sir, my son is studying in 8th standard from Assam Board in Silchar. But I want to transfer him to Guwahati. So, I just want to know about the reputed schools of Assam Board in Guwahati which provides admission in 9th standard.

No any school admits any child in 9th standard. There is no any possibility to change school in 9th standard. In other state also it is not possible to change school in 9th standard.
But if you want to transfer him then it is done only in same school.
Your child will be allowed to get transfer in same branch of school if exists in Guwahati if not then it is not possible.
