Hello Sir, I am a Science student of 11th standard studying with WBCHSE Board. I also want to give 12th Board exam with Science stream. So, I am planning to register with NIOS Board. So, I want to know about the requirements for registration.

The requirement is such that you will have to have completed your 11th boards from a recognized university and only after you will be able to fill up the application form for admission in 12th NIOS board.

Requirements to register in NIOS for 12th Science Board exam:--

Candidate age should be complete 16 years for taking admission in 12th.

Senior Secondary Course.

Scan/Photocopy of 10th class passed Mark sheet.

Address Proof (Aadhar Card)/Rent Agreement (if rented).

Cast Certificate (if belongs to OBC, SC, ST).

Certificate from a Government Hospital for a handicapped person.

Original Failure/ Compartment Without Laminated Mark sheet of class 12th for TOC (Transfer of credit).

Two Latest Coloured Photographs (Passport Size).

Requirements to register in NIOS for 12th Science Board exam:-

As an Application for admission can be made only through the online mode, candidates have to fill the form from the official website.

Candidates have to visit the student portal of NIOS.

Fill the required details and click on submit button.

Upload photograph and signature.

Candidates have to select the subjects as per their course and also have to provide previous qualification details.

Candidates can save and take a printout of the filled in application form for future.

Documents:

Recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate.
A valid identity proof.
Signature
Valid proof of date of birth.
A valid residence proof.
Caste / social category certificate.
