There are no particular rules, which have been specified by CBSE board for joining in 11th standard after one year gap. And this is not a big issue, you can easily get admission at any CBSE school. To get admission, you should visit any particular school and you should submit your application form along with following documents.
1. 10th pass certificate
2. Transfer certificate from your school
3. Bonafide, which was assisted by your school principal

Sometimes, the school admission office may enquire you, about the reason for one year gap, then you should satisfy them by saying any considerable reason.

I have passed 10th this year and due to major accidents I have not taking admission in 11. Should I take admission this year, will it affect my career?

Hello Sir, My name Is Souhardya. I am Currently in class 12(CBSE) and I have passed class 10 from ICSE(91.4%) and 11th from CBSE(81%).
But I know that I havent studied class 11 well.I was determined to prepare for IIT but in my hometown there is no resource of it. Now I have realised that i havent grasped any good concept in class 11 and i have also realised that class 11 and 12 has hell and heaven difference with JEE
Now I am thinking to take a drop.I have already passed 11th.
My question is:
1.Should I drop now?(i am in 12th now)
2.Suppose if i drop now.Since I have already passed 11th with 81% so this year if I study on my own will I get admission in any school via my present class 11 result or I have to complete 11th again?
Please reply Sir
Thank you
