Should I drop a year after 12th to prepare for HPCET?

Respected Sir, I am preparing for the Board exam of 12th standard as well as for HPCET. I want to do BTech course. I will give upcoming HPCET but if I don't secure good rank then should I drop a year for the preparation?

The first and the most important target before you is to score good marks in 12th exam. In my opinion you should prepare for your ongoing schooling examination. If you study well and learn all concepts in your syllabus properly then it will automatically cover about 70% of syllabus of HPCET. Although after schooling examination you will have enough time to cover remaining 30% syllabus.

If you get failed, then you may think about dropping 1 year for preparing for Entrance test. This way you will ensure good score in 12th as well as a fruitful attempt to HPCET.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
