Should I send my son to Chennai for further education who is studying in 8th standard?

Hello everyone, my son is in 8th standard and he is studying with Tripura State Board. He is a very bright student so I am thinking to send him to Chennai for further education. I want him to study in IIT in near future. So, should I send him to Chennai?
