Hi Sir/Madam, My Daughter DOB is 07th December,2013.
She has already completed L K G in the year of March 2018 in the CBSE School.

But i have doubt that is that DOB is eligible to join in 1st standard in the CBSE Schools later?

As per the guidelines of the central board of secondary education (CBSE), the correct age of the student should be between 5 years 6 months to 6 years 10 months to get admission in 1st Standard.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum age criteria required for admission to Class I of a CBSE school, then I would like to let you know is that there is no such criteria set by the CBSE universally and schools are advised to follow the minimum age prescribed by the concerned State/U.T. Government where the school is situated to offer admission in their institute and therefore you can check with your concerned state education board to have exact details regarding the minimum age for school admissions in your State/UT.

CBSE has not released any notification regarding the age limit criteria for admission in any Std.
