Respected Sir/Madam, I am studying and preparing for the Board exam of 10th standard with ICSE Board. I have subjects like, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics. So, if I fail in any of 4 subjects then will I consider pass or not?

If you fail in 4 subjects, then surely you will be day declared failed by any board. You need to pass minimum 5 subjects, to get the pass status for your class 10th board exam.

Just make sure you are well prepared for the board exam. If your feel that, you are not prepared well and there is a high probability of failing, then you should skip this year and appear next year with better preparation.

In ICSE board, a candidate appears for 6 exams in 10th board examination hence the ICSE board consider only 5 subjects which are the best hence if you will fail in one subject then you need not to worry about it.
Whereas if you get failed in 4 subjects then you will be considered fail.

What if i am pass in geography, English 1 and 2, computer, hindi, biology.. will i pass class 10 icse

ICSE calculates the best of five subjects out of 6 and if someone is fail in one subject it will not get calculated.Your percentage will come out of 5 best subjects,so need to worry.

For ex-One has scored-

MATH-90

Science-90

Computer-95

English-88

HCG-75

Hindi-60

Remember that English is the Compulsory subject and you have to calculate best of other 4.

So Hindi score is low so don't include it.
