Can i apply for AMIE correspondence course with ITI Fitter qualification?

No, you can't apply for AMIE correspondence course with ITI Fitter qualification.

Candidate who have done recognised 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent in any branch of engineering can apply for AMIE, but ITI Fitter course is only 2 year course.

Also, there is no restriction of marks.

Candidate who have completed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks can also apply for AMIE correspondence course.

After doing the ITI Fitter course, if any student wants to go for higher education then the best option is to do a Diploma in Engineering or Polytechnic.

Diploma after ITI (lateral entry). Candidates who have passed 2-year ITI/Vocational Courses in specified trade, after class X and have got lateral entry directly in Second year of 3 year Engineering Diploma Courses being conducted by respective State Board of Technical Education will be considered for Senior Technician Membership of the Institution.
