The TANCET MBA exam has five sections mentioned here -

Quantitative Reasoning
Verbal Reasoning
Reading Comprehension
Data Sufficiency
Business Situation Analysis

The TANCET paper is for a 120 mins and contains a 100 questions .There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer.

No , there is no change in syllabus . TANCET i.e Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test and this examination is conducted by Anna University Once in a year for admission to M.Tech , M.Arch , M.Plan , M.E , M.B.A,M.C.A .This year TANCET Examination has been completed and Next announcement will be available in the month of Feb or March in the official website as well as employment news paper .

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Course ::

The Student need to completed bachelor's degree in any background from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the student must secure at least 50% marks in their examination(45% marks for reserved categories) .

The Student who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for MBA entrance examination but pre-final year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination .

There is no age limits and there is no limitation to attempts for TANCET Examination .

The Application form will be received two modes :: 1)Offline Registration(Spot Registration 2)Online Registration .

Offline Registration ::

Student need to bring the following document for Spot Registration

i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Cash (or) Demand Draft.
iv) The SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the
permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.

Online Registration ::

Student can register through Online by filling-up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under these item with the following enclosed:

i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Demand Draft.
iv) An attested copy of the permanent community certificate issued by the
competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).
