Exam Pattern and Reference Books for TANCET (MBA)
Graduates from any of the recognized Universities with a minimum of 50% marks can appear for TANCET (MBA). The test will have questions from areas like English Comprehension, Numerical Ability, and Data Sufficiency. Reference books such as Reasoning Test (Verbal & Non-Verbal) by Dr. M.B.Lal & A.K.Singh, Compendium General English by Dr.B.B.Jain, etc and those published by T.I.M.E/Upkar, can be used for exam preparation.
Exam Pattern of TANCET (MBA)
This written test comprises a total of 100 questions, each having 5 alternative answers. Candidate should select the right one among these alternative choices. Each correct answer is awarded with 1 mark to make a total of 100 marks. Total time allotted for the completion of the test is 2 hours.
The test contains questions to evaluate candidate’s ability in identifying critical data and to apply the same in typical business situations. There will be questions based on passages given in English language comprehension. Numerical ability of the candidate is measured via graduate level mathematical problems. Other than this, the test covers questions on data sufficiency, English grammar, verbal ability, as well.
