If your doing diploma ,you can search for job after completing your diploma in civil. If you want to do BTech in civil you have to qualify in I-CET after completing your diploma. If qualified in ICET you may join in any engineering college based on your rank in civil in 2nd year.

Dear Friend,

You can get admission in 2nd year of Engineering course through Lateral Entry Entrance Test.

Lateral Entry Entrance Test is conducted by colleges and university separately and you need to write this test for the college you are interested to take admission in.

You have not mentioned the details about yourself or any college of your interest so it is difficult to tell you anything on this.

You just need to visit the college website and the details regarding this examination will be available on it.

Your experience of 10 years will be very helpful to you during placements.

All the best.
Thank you.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
