Can I study Ph.D in Environmental Engineering if completed UG in Chemical Engineering? Syllabus of Ph.D entrance exam?


Dear sir / madam,

I completed my UG in Chemical engg (Bangalore university) and PG in Environmental engineering in Dept of Civil Engg (vinayaka missions University), now i am interested to do phd. What is the procedure for that and can i register in chemical engg catagory and proceed my phd with Environmental engg. also what is the syllabus for entrance exam?
