Can anyone of you please tell me what is Chartered Accountant? Please provide me the detailed information. Thank you.

Chartered Accountant is a professional course in the field of accounts.A candidate belongs to any stream can apply for CA exam.

The first step for CA course is CPT exam.

Eligibility criteria for CPT exam:-

You must have passed 12th standard .If you have graduate passed with minimum 55% marks then you have given exemption from CPT exam.You can direct enter in IPCC exam.

There are two sections in CPT exam .

Fundamental of accounting & Mercantile Law
Economics & Quantitative Aptitude

IPCC is the second stage of CA.It includes 7 subjects which is divided in to 2 groups.

Group I:-Accounting,Business Law & communication,Taxation,Cost accounting & financial accounting.

Group II :- Auditing,Information Technology,Advanced Accounting.

Final Course If you have appeared both groups of IPCC then you can enter in final examination for CA.
