Dear sir, this is dr mohammad shafiul islam. I am working as a honorary psychiatrist and medical officer in shahjalal university of science and technology hospital bangladesh. I have passed m.phil psychiatry in 2010. Now i am willing to study phd programme. Would you give me your valuable advice.

For Ph.D admission in India one has to appear for Ph.D entrance exam and interview for admission. M.Phil qualified candidates are exempted from entrance exam and they are eligible for interview stage directly.

For selection you have to appear for interview and viva which will also involve a scientific writeup of your research work. If your performance is good enough then surely you will get admission. Any experience in the field will also help you during admission.
