Is there any particular entrance exam to study B.Sc(Forensic Science) for PCB student? Career aspects of Forensic Science?


Sir,
I am really having a lot of interest in Forensic Science. I have completed my 12th with PCB group. Is there any separate entrance exam for getting admission in B.Sc Forensic Science. Is there a bright future in Forensic Science? How to get admission in B.Sc Forensic Science? What is the cutoff percentage requires?

The aspirant can study the B.Sc in Forensic Sciences. The eligibility to study the course is 12th science group with 60% marks (physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, B.Pharm or BDS or applied science). The duration of the course is 3 years. We don’t find B.Sc in Forensic Sciences in Kerala. You can study the course in other states. The course is available in the following colleges,

No, there is no particular entrance exam to study B.Sc Forensic Sciences. The eligibility to study the course is 12th science group with 60% marks. The course is available in many colleges in India like,

- Amity University - http://www.amity.edu/aifs/Programmes.asp
- Panjab University - http://ifsc.puchd.ac.in/

After the course you can work as Forensic Scientist, Investigator, Drug Analyst, Forensic Researcher, Forensic Consultant, Insurance Investigator, Risk Analyst, Police, Legal System, Investigative Services, CBI, IB, Hospitals and Labs etc. The aspirant can work in government organizations, police department, educational institutions, forensic research labs, Insurance Agencies, Food Industries, Chemical Industries etc.

I am interested in forensic science. And I have completed bsc with chemistry. So what are the scope for me? How much percentage is required for it? And I have to give any entrance exam for admission in it?
