First of all there are 15 IITs (Admission is through IITJEE)and then 20 NITs (Admission is through AIEEE) and the you have DCE, NSIT.

There are also some good pvt institutes like BITS, VIT, Manipal Univ.

CUSAT was being converted in the IITs
its is a very good college which provide the quality education to the students along with the good placement package even
and even the fees is also very less as compared to other colleges
so according to me you should go for the CUSAT colleges instead of the NIT Bhopal

NSIT is government funded and has quite a reputation for it's CS and IT courses.

VIT is newer, private and has higher fees, but nonetheless it's a good college with an excellent campus.
