Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university with minimum qualifying marks are eligible for SBI BANK PO exam.

But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS=>



SBI BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)GD 3)Personal Interview.

Min eligibilty to sit in the SBI PO exam is graduation pass.
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
With OBC getting 3 years and SC/ST getting 5 years age relaxation

SBI will come out with its PO nitification in next 1 or 2 months.

To get sucess in SBI PO exams first make sure your basics of maths and reasoning is good and than start solving the previous years question papers

You only get 36 seconds to answer a question in the entrance exam of SBI

To sit for the SBI exam which is one of the top rung banks in India you need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria. It is no doubt one of the largest public sector bank in India. This exam is conducted whenever there is a vacancy. Notifications are published in an advance. So to keep yourself updated do visit their official website from time to time.

SBI Probationary Officer Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
  • You should be a citizen of India to sit for this exam.

Educational Qualification:
  • If you have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible to apply for this exam.
  • At graduation level it is important to secure minimum 65% of marks. For SC/ST candidates the percentage to secure is 60 percent of marks.

Age Limit:

When applying for this exam your age should not be less than 21 years. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

Age Relaxation:

1. For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
2. For OBC candidates: 3 years
3. For physically handicapped candidates: 10 years.

Selection Procedure:

There are three stages or hurdles to cross to finally get selected. They are as follows:
  • Written Examination
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview

Examination Pattern:
  • In the written examination both objective and descriptive type of questions will be asked. For the objective paper you will get roughly two hours to finish the paper and and maximum marks that will be alloted for this paper is 200 marks.
  • For the objective paper you can expect questions from the following sections:

1. English Language
2. General Awareness
3. Data Analysis and Interpretation
4. Reasoning
  • The descriptive paper will be filled with English Language questions which needs to be answered in one hour. The total marks alloted for this paper is 50 marks and questions will come from comprehensions, letter writing, article writing etc.
  • For the probationary officer's exam it is important to have basic computer knowledge so that you can do your own work promptly on a day to day basis. This will keep you one step ahead of your competitors.
  • There is one qualifying marks which needs to be acquired in the written examination and only then you will be able to enter the next stage of selection which is the group discussion and interview round.
  • On the basis of the vacancies available and the marks you have achieved you will be called. For both the rounds 50 marks all in all has been alloted. Out of which 30 is for the interview round and 20 for GD. At times for experience extra marks is provided. This round or phase II of selection is of vital importance too as the final decision is mostly influenced by these two rounds.
  • After getting selected you will be on a probation period of maximum six months. During this period your work style will be scrutinized thoroughly. If you fail to satisfy then your probation period might get extended too.

for preparing yourself for bank po or clerk post you have to study well..
try to practice aptitude..
best book to practice bank aptitude test is the 'verbal and non verbal reasoning' by dr r s agarwal..
prepare well..

Hello,
what is the correct percentage requirement in graduation, i have heard it is 60 or 65 and is it the aggregate percent or only of the final year. I am a BE with agg. 59.2% and in final year i had 66.2%; am i eligible for it ?
