Gayatri Vidya Parishad (GVP) College of Engineering is a self-financing institute that was set up in the year 1996. The college is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education and it is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University located at Kakinada.

The B.Tech course offered by the college is accredited by the National Bureau of Accreditation (NBA).  The college offers excellent education in the field of technology through skilled lecturers and modern facilities.

The undergraduate courses available in the college are B.Tech (Chemical Engineering), B.Tech (Civil Engineering), B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering), B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering), B.Tech (Information Technology), and B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).

The post graduate courses available in the college are M.Tech (CAD/CAM), M.Tech (Chemical Engineering), M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), M.Tech (Software Engineering), and MCA.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates, who have passed 10+2 examination in science stream with at least 60% marks, are eligible to apply for the B. Tech course. They must also get a valid score in the EAMCET exam or AIEEE/CET (State conducted test/University tests/Association conducted test) in order to get admission for the B. Tech course in the college.

The candidates, who have passed B. Tech program, are eligible to apply for the M.Tech course. They must get qualified in the GATE/ JNTU PGCET test in order to get admission for the M.Tech course in the college.

The candidates, who have passed their UG course in any discipline with mathematics either at 10+2 or at graduation level, can apply to the Master of Computer Applications course. They should also get a valid score in the ICET test in order to get admission for the MCA course in the college.
