Bank of India was established on 7th September, 1906. The bank was started in Mumbai with an initial capital of Rs.50 lakh. It had only 50 employees when it was started, but now it has a great strength of employees. The bank offers excellent banking service while firmly adhering to a policy of prudence and caution. It leads in introducing many innovative services and systems. The bank also has about twenty nine foreign branches. The bank offers banking services through advanced infrastructure, online services etc.
Job Profile:
Bank of India is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian Nationals on the posts of General Banking Officers. Applications are invited from only those candidates, who have a valid common Written Examination scores. Candidates are required to follow all the below mentioned eligibility conditions for being eligible to apply for the specified posts in Bank of India.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the posts of General Banking Officer is 21 years.
The maximum age limit set for the posts of General Banking Officer is 30 years.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification that is need to be possessed by the candidates for being eligible for applying for the postys of General Banking Officers in Bank of India is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate at their Graduation degree. Besides this, candidates should also possess a valid score card of Common Written Examination.

Posts available for General candidates: 870 posts.
Posts available for SC candidates: 286 posts.
Posts available for ST candidates: 184 posts.
Posts available for OBC candidates: 460 posts.
Posts available for PH candidates: 54 posts.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated amount of salary i.e. Rs. 14500-25700 per month.
Application Fee:
An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted or paid by the candidates. However, no fee is to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM categories. The application fee must be paid in any branch of Bank of India. The payment must be done through the use of a payment challan which can be downloaded from the website of Bank of India. Candidates are required to keep the transaction no. to themselves after making payment of application fee.
Selection Process:
Those candidates who rank high in the order of merit of COmmon Written Examination’s socrecard, will be called to attend the Personal Interview test on a specified date. Candidates performing well in the interview test, will be considered at the time of making final decision on the selections for the posts.
How to apply: Canidates are required to apply through online mode only. Online applications should be made only at the official website of Bank of India. Candidates should take a printout of the application form after submitting online at the website. The printout should be retained by the candidates as it need to be shown at the time of interview.
