Gujarat Technological University is one of the major technological universities of Gujarat. Civil engineering is one of the courses provided by this university and the concrete technology is one of the papers of the 3rd sem. This subject is a very important subject for the civil engineering course so the paper is designed so as to cover the whole syllabus. The students get few choices in this paper and the pattern clearly suggests that. Selective study is usually not suggested according to the pattern.

As such there are no sections in this paper. The questions are all arranged serially.

The pattern and the number of question

In this paper there is no sectional division of the paper. The paper contains all the questions serially. There are a total of five questions in this paper and in each question there may be a number of questions. There is no overall choice in the paper but internal choices are present. The first question doesn’t contain any choice the remaining questions do have choice. One question can have many parts. Usually there are two parts in a question. There are usually no long questions in this paper.

Marks division of the questions

The maximum marks for this paper is 70 and each of the five questions contains 14 marks each. Mostly these 14 marks is divided in 7 marks for each of the two parts of the question.

Time allotted

The maximum time allotted for the paper is 3 hrs.
