Gujarat University, Bachelor of Communication, Journalism & Public Relations Papers
The course of Communication, Journalism & Public Relations Papers in the Under Graduate level, also known as BCJP holds around a total of six papers. Gujarat University conducts written based exam for these six papers within duration of one year, as the course is of one year in duration. The names of the papers under BCJP are:
• Principles of mass communication and media ethics
• Indian culture and society
• Media law and development of media
• Advertising and public relation
• Reporting and editing
• Current affairs and translation
Each of the papers in this course contains a total of one hundred marks. Therefore the total marks in the course are sis hundred. Apart from these, are also other elective based papers such as Radio journalism, Developmental communication, corporate communication and Script writing for various media and each of the paper also consist of 100 marks. There is also a compulsory paper namely “practical training of media offices” which has proven to be a great success. The questions in these papers are both objective as well as subjective, and also cover both internal choices as well as compulsory based questions.
