Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology is the formerly regional research laboratory approved by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-AIST) located in Bhubaneswar. Institute offers the Post graduate courses to the aspiring candidates. All the eligible aspirants are invited for admission to CSIR-AIST. Institute offers the scholarships to the meritorious candidates along with guaranteed recruitments to the students on completion of course.

Before this name it was known as Regional Research Laboratory. The library of the institute provides selected books to their candidates which they need. It also provides the lectures of various scientists by using various databases CDROM. The institute has provided the internet facility to the candidates so that they may collect all the information related to their research.

• CSIR-AIST One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Mineral Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have following qualifications from the recognized University to be eligible for this course:

1. B.Tech or B.E in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mineral and Mining Engineering

2. M.Sc in Chemistry, Geology/ Applied Geology

Note:

• Admissions are opened to both sponsored candidates having industrial experience as well as non non-sponsored candidates.

• Candidates who are interested in undertaking the application form through post have to forward a requisite letter filled up in their own handwriting.

• The candidates are also specifically advised to mention their registration number as well as provide a sample of their signature in the letter as well as at the back side of the Demand Draft.

• Finally the candidates are also advised to fill up both the application form as well as requisite letter in either blue or black ball pen. The candidates are forbidden to fill up either of the important documents with fountain pen of any color ink.
