JD Institute of Fashion Technology came into existence in the year 1988 and it is one of the top fashion technology institutes in our Country, which is affiliated to Kuvempu University. Courses offered:
JD Institute of Fashion Technology offers undergraduate and diploma programmes in fashion technology in various disciplines.
The undergraduate programme available at JD Institute of Fashion Technology is B. Sc degree in various disciplines including Fashion and Design, Garment Manufacturing Technology, CAD/CAM, Fashion Illustration, Creative Fabric Designing, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Merchandising, Garment Export Management, Jewellery Designing, Fashion Photography, Visual Merchandising and Interior Designing.
The One-year Diploma programme is available in Fashion Business Management, Fashion Design & Garment Manufacturing Technology disciplines.
Six-month diploma programme is available in Garment Manufacturing Technology, Fashion Illustration, Garment Export Management, Jewellery Designing, and CAD/CAM disciplines.
Three-month diploma programme is available in Fashion Photography and Visual Merchandising.
Eligibility criteria for getting admission:
Candidates who have successfully completed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board are eligible to get admission in the B. Sc degree course at the college. They must get qualified in the test conducted by the institute itself in order to get admission for the B. Sc degree.
Candidates who have successfully completed 10+2 examination are eligible for the diploma courses available at the college.

The college has state-of-the art infrastructure with excellent and well-equipped labs and library. The college also has well furnished hostel facility for both girls and boys.
