I work in a software company and my company recruits engineers from various institutes including the IIT's.
If you don't get IIT's then you should probably opt for these colleges.

1.DAIICT:Placements are excellent and we value them greatly in our company.

2.IIIT Hyderabad: Same as above.

you can also go for some for nit's .
altough their education is not as good as in these colleges.
