Exam Pattern of the Pulmonary Exam

The medical entrance exams for the Pulmonology course are available at the Post Graduate as well as Post Doctoral levels. Their exams patterns are given below.

  • Post Graduate courses (MS/MD): This exam has a period of 3 hours. 250 MCQ’s shall be asked. Each question shall have 5 options. Negative marking will be there in this paper. Wrong answers will get a minus marking of 1/4th marks.
  • Post Doctoral courses (DM/M.Ch.):This entrance test has a period of 90 minutes. 80 MCQ’s will be asked. The paper has 2 parts. The former does not have any negative marking whilst the latter part of the paper has negative marking.

How to Procure Application for the Pulmonary Exam?

Admission forms for this entry test could be collected from the exam counters of the institutions that participate in this examination. Some institutions designate banks to provide students with the admission forms. Forms can be obtained from the official websites of the participating institutions as well. Getting the forms by post is another method. The price of the forms will differ from institution to institution.
