As you have completed your Engineering degree in Information Technology thus you will not be able to appear in IES(Indian Engineering services) Exam Conducted by UPSC.

The rest Exam conducted by UPSC in which you can appear are :-

>>C.D.S(Combined defence services).
>>IAS(Indian Administrative services).
>>IPS(Indian Police Services).

In order to appear in IAS/IPS/CDS,Your minimum educational qualification required is degree/engineering pass out frm recognized university.

Age :-

>>For CDS - Minimum should be 18 years and should not be above 24 years.

>>For IAS/IPS - Minimum should be 21 years and should not be above 28 years.

There are some specific Entrance exams for Govt. job conducted by UPSC which are widely accepted.

NDA - National Defence Academy to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA after 12th standard.

CDS - Combined Defence Service to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy after Graduation

Civil Service Exam - To join as IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS etc. after Graduation.

SCRA - Special Class Railway Apprentice - To join in the Mechanical Dept. under Indian Railway after Graduation with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

IES - Indian Engineering Service - To join as engineers in the top technical post under Central Govt's various Depts after B.Tech. Degree

Eligibility criteria. :-----
A) must complete graduation degree from reputated colleges ..
B) Age limit is between 18 years - 27 years ..

To crack the exam , one should be sound at
1) Quantitative & aptitude reasoning .

4) History and geography.
