Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) established in 2006 is already taking big leaps in academic performance. It is affiliated under Anna University of technology and is approved by AICTE. Its primary objective is to impart technical knowledge. It is a self financed co-educational institute providing technical education on various subjects.  

Campus

Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) have an attractive and a vast campus surrounded by greenery. It is located at Ramanathichanputhur which is 15Kms north of Kanyakumari and 15Kms east of Nagercoil. The college has hostel, library, lab, internet and auditorium facilities. The library provides excellent collection of books.  The classroom is spacious which is specially designed to fit the modern management style. It has separate conference and seminar hall.  There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The transport department provides buses for students as well as staffs.

Courses Offered

Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology offers undergraduate courses on Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering for the degree of B.E and B. tech degree on Information Technology. It also has post graduate courses on Computer Application and Business Administration.

Admission Procedure

The admission is conducted by Anna University. The application for Admission to B. tech, M. tech and B.E for colleges under Anna University can be submitted online and Offline.

Placements

The students are given the opportunities of training under different research institution and corporate industry. The placement cell provides placement in leading companies like Accenture, Larsen and Turbo, Infosys and various others.
