please let me know if a student studied abroad till 10th and is currently doing 12th in tamil nadu, does she/he qualify for tamil nadu engineering college couselling directly or does they come in nri quota....

total years studied in Tamil nadu is only 2 years. how many preceding years a student has to study in tamil nadu for qualifiying in normal quota.

my daughter studied upto 4th std in india and we went to foreign country, if she return to india and studied 11 and 12th std, will she eligible for tamilnadu engineering counselling ?

my son studying 9th grade in dubai and want to study for 11th, 12th in india under cbsc. Is he eligible to get admission in government colleges/govt quoto in private colleges

Is a candidate passed 10th from abroad and 12th from Tamil Nadu, eligible for admission in Tamilnadu engineering colleges?

My son studying in Indian International School Jeddah Saudi Arabia, now he is in 10th, if he study for 11th & 12th in Hyderabad, his entitle to NRI quota or not for further study in Engineering in Hyderabad.

Hi, I have 2 children. They came from India in 2014 April and joined 6th grade and 8th grade. Now they are studying in 7th grade and 9th grade. Whether they will be treated as NRI or regular if they will join school from 2017 April). Also if I move them to India from 2016 April what will be impact. Please advice. Thanks

The candidates whose parents are doing job in foreign or the students who are studying in foreign countries are called NRI (Non Resident Indians) candidates.

The eligibility requirements for studying in schools or colleges varies based on the board and state you are choosing to study.

The admission for 9th standard will be given based on the previous year performance. The documents required are Transfer certificate, previous year exam certificate, passport and perfect proofs for showing as an NRI candidate.

Admission for 10th and 12th standard are not given directly the candidate should complete their 9th & 11th classes in India.
