Structure of Madurai Kamaraj University M.Sc in Electronics and Instrumentation Entrance Exam

The candidates will be selected to the M.Sc course on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. The candidates who qualify in the entrance test have to appear for seminar presentation followed by interview. The entrance test is objective nature with multiple choices. The test has to be completed in 100 minutes. The university conducts the exam mainly to check the basic knowledge of the students in the core topics.

Eligibility Criteria

The students who have passed B.Sc in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ Physics/ Instrumentation/ Applied Science/ Computer Science from a recognized university can appear for M.Sc in Electronics and Instrumentation entrance exam. Those who have completed B.Sc in any subject with Electronics or Physics as auxiliary subject can also appear for the exam. The student should score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

How to Apply?

The candidates have to download the application form along with the information booklet from the official websites like www.mgtmku.org or www.mkuniversity.org. The candidate should send the duly completed application to “The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Palkalainagar, Madurai - 625 021”. Along with the application form, the candidate has to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/-, which is drawn in favor of the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University. The DD must be payable at Madurai.

How to fill the Form?

• Go through the information booklet before filling the form
• Fill the application neatly and clearly with own handwriting
• Do not leave any column vacant except the ones meant for office use
• Use separate application form for different courses
• Affix a recent passport size photograph of the candidate in the column mentioned
• Keep a photocopy of the filled application and the DD for future reference
• Write the name, address, and course name on the back side of the DD
