Maharaja College of Education is a constituent unit of Maharaja Group of Colleges and this education wing of the group was established in the year 2005 for coordinating and conducting courses for the preparation of education personnel and teachers for the nation. The college is recognized and sanctioned by the Government of Madhya Pradesh with affiliation from Vikram University.

Courses offered:

Maharaja College of Education is offering the following courses under the faculty of education and these courses are approved by the National Council for Teachers’ Education:

• Diploma in Education

• Bachelor of Education

• Master of Education

Intake Capacity of the college:

The NCTE has approved Maharaja College of education to offer B. Ed course for preparing secondary teachers with an intake capacity of 100 students and D. Ed course for preparing elementary teachers with an intake capacity of 100 students and M. Ed course with an intake capacity of 35 students.

Admission Procedure:

The selection of candidates for Maharaja College of Education will be based on the guidelines issued by Vikram University and state government of M.P from time to time. In the process of admission, preference will be given to students residing in the district of Ujjain and 25 seats are reserved for students belonging to other states of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

As far as the bachelor’s degree course in education, students who have completed their graduation in B. Sc/B. A or PG in M. Sc/M.A in the respective optional subject with not less than 50% of marks are eligible for admission. For Masters’ of education, they must have completed their B. Ed from a recognized institution.
