Hindustan Insecticides Ltd (HIL) often invites applications for the post of Management Trainee in various disciplines of Finance, HR, Commerce and Engineering. Graduation / Post Graduation in the concerned stream with a minimum of 60% marks is the minimum qualification preferred. Upper age limit for management disciplines is 28 years and that for engineering discipline is 26 years. Selection procedure is based on written test and personal interview.

Eligibility Criterion for Management Trainee in HIL

Educational Qualification

Candidates who possess following educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the post of management trainee in below mentioned departments.

Finance discipline: Those who have passed the final exam of I C A I or I C W A are eligible. Apart from this, candidates who have completed Master of Business Administration with specialization in Finance are also eligible to apply for this post.

Personnel and HR discipline: Those who have completed MBA with specialization in Personnel Management/Human Resources Management are eligible. In addition to this, candidates who have completed Master of Social Work or Post Graduation in any of the following subjects are also eligible.

• Industrial Relations
• Personnel Management
• Human Resource Management

Commercial discipline: Those who have completed Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply. Apart from this, candidates who have completed graduation in Science subjects and Post graduate diploma in Material Management are eligible to apply.

Graduate Engineer Trainees: Those who have completed Engineering Graduation in Chemical/ Mechanical / Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil Engineering are eligible to apply.

Candidates who have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination can apply. There is no minimum mark for candidates who have passed C.A/ICWA and for those who are belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. Final year candidates who are awaiting results can also apply for the posts. Such candidates will have to produce supporting documents at the time of interview.

Selection Procedure

Recruitment to the post of Management Trainee is carried out on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the organization. Written test comprises of two papers. Paper I will contain questions from General Aptitude and Paper II will contain questions from subject knowledge. Questions will be asked in objective type formats. Those who have cleared written test will be called for group discussion. Candidates will be short listed for personal interview as per their scores in Written Test and Group Discussion. Final selection will be based on medical test conducted by the organization. Those who get selection will be sent for one year training. They will have to sign 2 years bond with the company. Candidates who successfully finished training will be posted as “Assistant Officer” or “Assistant Engineer” with a salary of Rs. 16400/- to Rs. 40500/- per month.
