Chemical Engineering is one of the most vast and important branch of engineering. It is the combined form of physical and life sciences. Research in this branch provides a good platform for the new technologies such as nanotechnology, bio-reactor and fuel-cells. Mumbai University B.E. in Chemical Engineering paper of 4th semester Strength of Materials Papers is a subjective paper. The pattern of this paper is very much easy for the candidates. Total number of questions in this paper is 7 and candidates appearing for this paper have to attempt only 5 questions. First question of the paper is compulsory and candidates have to choose remaining 4 from the rest 6 questions. Every question has sub-questions. Each question carries equal marks. The paper contains theoretical as well as numerical questions.

Total Marks and time allotted:

Maximum marks in the paper are 100 and time allotted for the paper is 3 hours. Total number of questions to be attempted is 5 and each question carries 20 marks. Every question has sub-parts of it. The paper’s 1st question is compulsory whereas candidate can choose remaining 4 from the next 6 questions.
