University of Pune is also not left behind in producing some of the quality engineers in different fields of engineering. Chemical Engineering is not that much sought after engineering like mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Electronics engineering, but is always in the top list of the candidates if they don’t get any of the above mentioned disciplines. The curriculum is planned very efficiently to include all the important subjects in those 4 years and that too according to the expected student’s level in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. Chemical Engineering Materials falls under 2nd year and is a very easy paper. The paper usually has 2 sections with 6 questions in both of them. The first 4 questions of both the groups are of 16 marks and last two of both the groups are of 18 marks. 3 questions from both the sections must be answered by selecting either 1st or 2nd from both the group, 3rd or 4th from both the group and 5th or 6th from both the group. The paper is thus for 100 marks (16 marks *4 and 18marks *2). The time you get is 3 hours. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers for your help.
