NEF College of Management & Technology is an institution promoted by the National Education Foundation located in Guwahati. The college came into existence in the year 1997 and the institute holds the pride of being the first to offer BBA course in the North Eastern part of the nation. The institute has earned approval from the Department of Technical Education of Government of Assam to offer courses in computer applications, business administration and technology.

Master of Business Administration:

Master of Business Administration is a two-year course that is offered as full-time course with affiliation from Dibrugarh University. NEF College of Management & Technology is approved to admit 30 students per year for this course for which candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution or university with not less than 50% of aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Even candidates waiting for their final year results are eligible to apply. Admission of students will be based on the performance of the students in the entrance test conducted by the Dibrugarh University with questions from English language, numeric ability, reasoning, general awareness and short essays. However, candidates with MAT score are permitted to appear directly for GD and Personal interview. Foreign nations are exempted from entrance test.

Master of Social Work:

Master of Social Work is a two-year course that is offered as full-time course with affiliation from Dibrugarh University. NEF College of Management & Technology is approved to admit 40 students per year for this course for which candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution or university under 10+2+3 scheme with not less than 45% of aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). Admission of students will be based on the performance of the students in the entrance test conducted by the Dibrugarh University, Group Discussion and personal interview.

BCA and BBA:

BBA and BCA are three-year courses that is offered as full-time course with affiliation from Dibrugarh University. NEF College of Management & Technology is approved to admit 40 students and 50 students per year respectively for these course for which candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized institution with not less than 45% of aggregate marks with mathematics as a subject for BCA and with at least 50% of marks for BBA. Admission of students to these courses will be based on merit secured by them in the qualifying examination.
