Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is a responsible and governing authority which comes under the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2000, Government of India. The authority mainly consists of one chairperson and four other members. The authority can not have more than 4 members. Dr. J. S. Sarma is the present chairperson of the authority. The authority is responsible to create and nurture conditions for the growth of telecommunications in the country. The main aim of this authority is to help our country in playing an important role in the emerging global information society. It is a recognized authority engaged in the business of telecommunication in the country.

Job Profile:

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is inviting applications from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up the following posts of Private Secretary, Personal Assistant and Stenographer (Hindi). Candidates will be recruited purely on deputation on foreign service basis. Candidates will be recruited for a deputation period of two years.

1. Recruitment of Private Secretary:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officers of Central Public Sector Undertakings or Statuatory and Autonomous bodies. Canidates must be holding equivalent post on regular basis with atleast 6 years of regular basis in the grade of Personal Assistant. The officer should also possess working knowledge of computers.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

2. Recruitment of Personal Assistant:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officers of Central Public Sector Undertakings or Statuatory and Autonomous bodies. Canidates must be holding equivalent post on regular basis with atleast 6 years of regular basis in the grade of Stenographer Grade-D. The officer should also possess working knowledge of computers.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Stenographer (Hindi):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officials of Central Public Sector Undertakings and Statuatory and Autonomous bodies. Canidates must be holding equivalent post or Lower Division Clerk. Candidates should have speeed of minimum 80 words per minute in Stenography (Hindi) and typing speed of 30 words per minute. Knowledge of computers is also desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to strictly follow the age criteria or else they will not be considered eligible for applying for any of the above specified posts in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Relaxation of few years will be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
